Bio - Jon Moore

Massachusetts Visual Artist Jon Moore works in diverse forms of media including photography, drawing and video.  His work has been shown nationally and internationally, with exhibitions at the Delhi Biennial Photo Festival, The Mills Gallery at Boston Center for the Arts, Boston, MA and The Stillwater Gallery, Hudson, WI, The Makery, Los Angeles, CA and The Harvard Peabody Museum Film Series. In 2014, he founded the Cape Photo Collective, a group of contemporary art photographers working in southeastern MA.\

    Mr. Moore holds an MFA from Rutgers University where he studied drawing and painting with Leon Golub and conceptual art with Geoff Hendricks.  He has taught photography as an associate professor at The Art Institute of Boston, now at LesleyCollege. He has also taught drawing and design at Massachusetts College of Art, Regis College and Northeastern University.
