According to ancient Maya beliefs, we live in a horizontal world, with four corners and four directions, each assigned a color. The Crossings series makes this idea a point of departure, utilizing a four square grid as a context… to impose order in the creation of multi-photo compositions. The process is somewhat objective but with considerable subjective interpretation left open  to the viewer
